The 530-2D will operate as a USB keyboard on any PC running Windows or Mac OS X. No special drivers or software is needed.The 530-2D is our top of the line, rugged, industrial barcode laser scanner. It can attach to any USB port on a Windows® or Mac compute as a second keyboard. Scanned bar code data appears as though it has been typed in, so any program that can accept data from the keyboard will accept data from these laser scanners. Just scan a bar code and the data will appear wherever your cursor is placed. 

This laser has improvements in both range, scanning speed, and optical reading sensitivity when compared with our entry level LZ-160-USB scanners. It is perfect for office, retail, pharmaceutical, and warehouse applications.
