Lightning Arrestor Kit for external antennas (Note: This product is for indoor use only)

This kit is used to protect your amplifier from lightning strikes. It's designed to be used indoors between your external antenna LMR-400 cable and the amp. The protector must be grounded.     

NOTE:  Please note that while Lightning Protection will help guard against amplifier damage due to a lightning strike it does not guarantee it.

This Kit includes:

• LMR-400 Lightning Protector (0-3GHz)
• 2ft LMR-400 N male jumper cable
• 20ft - 10 AWG Ground Wire
• Ground Clamp for cold water Pipe
• Meter Pan Ground clamp
• 8" Ground Strap    

Our LMR-400 Lightning Protector is a very high-performance high power gas discharge tube suppressor featuring operation up to 3 GHz. The design of this protector provides outstanding performance and reliability due to its internal components. A circular brass contact inside ensures the gas tube is firmly seated as well as providing a better contact point for the gas tube. Most coaxial protectors are designed with only a thin pin that the gas tube sits on.

Both connector ports of this unit are equally protected. This provides protection no matter which way it is installed. Either port can face the antenna and either port can face the equipment. A ground lug and terminal are provided directly on the lightning protector housing which provides superior grounding.

Our 2' LMR-400 N-Male to N-Male Assembly is US made of Times Microwave cable and commercial grade N connectors. The connector to cable crimp area is protected by heat shrink.
